This project is a composite of a photo and digital artwork. I shot the original image myself and created all the effects in Photoshop.
I started with the image and used multiple different brushes to create the end image. It's important to note that the butterflys were created with brushes.
I used a technique that I came to like of making an image look like a painting while still keeping things like the eyes crisp and detailed.
The final product is meant to give the feel of hyper real painting.
